Dr. Thomas J. Holt is a professor in the School of Criminal Justice at Michigan State University whose research focuses on cybercrime, cyberterrorism and public policy.  He has published extensively on computer hacking, data theft, and cybercrime as service markets, as well as police responses to cybercrime and cyberterrorism.  His work appears in British Journal of Criminology, Criminology & Public Policy, Deviant Behavior, Journal of Criminal Justice, and Terrorism & Political Violence. Dr. Holt's work has been funded by the US Department of Homeland Security, the  National Institute of Justice, and the National Science Foundation.
