Daniel Thomas is a Chancellor's Fellow (lecturer/assistant professor) in
the Computer & Information Sciences department of the University of
Strathclyde. He measures security and cybercrime to monitor improvement,
evaluate interventions and inform regulators. This reveals which
techniques work and provides the missing economic incentives to improve
security and reduce cybercrime. He works with researchers from other
disciplines to understand why observed changes occur.
